STEP1. Make sure your mobile phone is connected to Internet.
Please insert your 3G SIM card, and check the following settings before you begin to download and install the mCamView software: Notice : If you can browse any website with your mobile phone, you could skip step a and go to step b directly !
1. Setup your network settings
  1. Go to "Start -> Settings -> Connections -> Connections -> Tasks".
  2. Select the "Add a new modem connection" which belongs to "My ISP".
  3. Enter the name of your 3G network into the "Enter a name for the connection:" column.
  4. Select "Cellular Line (GPRS)" item in the "Select a modem:" column, and click the "Next" button.
  5. Enter the access point name of your ISP in the "Access point name:" column, and click the "Next" button.  ("internet" is only for example)
  6. Click "Finish" to finish the setup of your 3G network
2. Setup the default internet connection
  1. Go to "Start -> Settings -> Connections -> Connections -> Advanced".
  2. Click the "Select Networks" button. setting.
  3. Set "My ISP" as the default network when programs automatically connect to "Internet" or "private network".
3. Setup the Windows Media Player
  1. Launch Windows Media Player by selecting "Start ->Programs -> Windows Media"
  2. Click the "Back" key to go to the main window of Windows Media Player.
  3. Press "Menu" button and select "Options" item.
  4. Select "Network" to enter the network setting window.
  5. Make sure the "Protocol -> UDP" checkbox has been checked.
STEP2. Download mCamView software directly from your mobile phone.
Notice：If you want to use the computer to download the mCamView software, you could skip steps 2~3, and go to step 4 directly.
1. Launch Mobile Internet Explorer by selecting "Start ->Internet -> Internet Explorer"
2. Enter the following address in the address bar, then click "Enter" to start the download.

STEP3. Choose a location to download the mCamView.CAB, you can download it to "Device" or to "Storage Card".
1. You can press the "Yes" button to save the mCamView.CAB to /My Documents, or you can do step 3-c to save to a storage card.
2. If you want to automatically install the cab, check the "Open file after download" check box. Then, press "Yes" button to begin.
3. You can change the saving location to storage card by selecting "Save As", and change the content of "Location" to "Storage Card". Then, press "Save" button to begin. Notice : When Step 3 is finished, go to Step 6 directly.
STEP4
As another way, you could download mCamView.CAB software to a notebook or a desktop from http://www.starvedia.com/3G/download/Professional/mCamView.cab, and then transfer it to your mobile phone by USB cable or Bluetooth or Infrared.
STEP5
After transferring the mCamView.CAB to your mobile phone, go to the folder where you saved it, and select the cab file mCamView.CAB to start the installation.
STEP6
Ignore the unknown publisher warning (if any), and press "Yes" to continue the installation.
STEP7
Choose a location to install the mCamView, you can install it on "Device" or on "Storage Card". Click "Install" button to begin the installation.
STEP8
When mCamView is installed successfully on device, click "ok" to finish.
